In 1886, an American railroad engineer named Alexander Luders
Light founded the Triton Fish and Game Club, opening up a terrain comprising no fewer than
200 lakes. The mid-20 th century was host to Triton Fish and Game Club's golden era, when
the Triton welcomed such illustrious club members as American presidents Theodore Roosevelt
and Harry Truman, members of the Rockefeller and Molson families, British prime minister
Winston Churchill, and many others. Today, La Seigneurie du Triton stands apart for the
quality of its fishing, services, lodging, food, and attentive staff. In addition to fishing,
you can enjoy a wide range of sports and activities, on land and on water, organized by a team
of qualified instructors. Fly fishing enthusiasts will be pleased to learn that the area,
which covers 50 sq. km (19 sq. mi.), includes a lake reserved exclusively for them.
La Seigneurie du Triton and Pourvoirie Baie Johan-Beetz: a proud heritage, and a skilled
team at your service!
